Cetacean watching in Costa Adeje with Catamaran

One of the most beautiful experiences that can be done in Tenerife is to discover, in the south-west zone, the cetaceans with a guide interpreting the marine environment of the Canary Islands.

They will sail in search of whales and dolphins in the Costa Adeje area. The guides will inform you about the characteristics, customs, food and migrations of the species of cetaceans that you will find while sailing.

Normally, they will be able to contemplate in total freedom the species of cetaceans such as pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins, among others. After the sighting, you can continue sunbathing and enjoy a swim in the ocean.

For whale watching in Costa Adeje, the catamaran has a VIP area with comfortable sunbeds. Relax sunbathing in your hammock during the excursion and enjoy a privileged place in the bow of the catamaran to watch the whales and dolphins in the best company. They have an additional price, double hammocks: 10 €.

This excursion is carried out respecting the Charter of Quality of Whale Watching of the Cabildo de Tenerife, which regulates responsible sighting in Tenerife.

If you require a free shuttle bus service, please make sure you choose the pick-up point closest to your hotel. Once you have completed your booking, you will receive an email with your booking confirmation and a map with directions to your chosen bus pick-up point and how to get from your hotel to the bus stop. We recommend that you wait for the bus at the bus stop at least 15 minutes in advance, as there may be differences in the timetable due to traffic conditions.

In the drop-down menu PICK-UP PLACE, choose the hotel where you are going to stay during your stay in Tenerife, and you will be able to see the time the bus will pass by your hotel. Remember that the pick-up fee is 4€ more per person. Then choose the payment method you are going to use and complete the process.

Finally, you will receive an email with your booking voucher, where you will have all the details of your excursion. Print it out and show it to the Freebird Catamaran guide on the bus or at the boarding pier in Puerto Colon.

Yes, the 4,5h excursion from Costa Adeje includes: beer, water, soft drinks, paella and salad. Ice-cream is not included in the price of the excursion.

It is not possible to use a wheelchair on board our catamarans, therefore, it is very important to have some mobility to be able to board our catamarans. Please contact us at webbookings@freebirdone.com indicating your specific needs before booking and we can then confirm if we can meet them.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist for a prescription or recommendation for motion sickness pills. Depending on weather conditions, there are days when wind and waves can cause seasickness for people who are not used to travelling by boat.
