We will start our excursion from the south of the island until we reach Vilaflor de Chasna. Here we will make our first stop to try the typical Tenerife coffee “el barraquito

Vilaflor is also the highest village in the Canary Islands. It is 1450 metres above sea level.

Next, we will pass in the Corona Forestal Natural Park, which is also the largest protected area in the Canary Islands.

We will discover the endemic flora of the Canarian pine until we enter the Teide National Park, where the landscape will change again and it will be exciting to see the third highest volcano in the world in the middle of a huge volcanic caldera.

After a stop at Los Roques de García at 2,100 meters above sea level, we will head towards Masca to discover a town of 90 inhabitants nestled in the deepest ravine in the Canary Islands.

We will return to Garachico, passing through the Teno Rural Park, discovering gigantic cliffs and gentle agricultural valleys, steep ravines carved by time, young volcanic cones and rural architecture.

In the village of Garachico we will stop for a typical lunch (not included in the price) and visit the natural pools formed by the eruption of the volcano Trevejo, which on the 5th of May 1706 destroyed the most important port of the island until then.

After lunch we will go to Icod de Los Vinos to discover the thousand-year-old Drago tree, a fabulous millenary plant that is also the botanical symbol of Tenerife.
