The via ferrata in Gran Canaria is a vertical and horizontal route, equipped with various materials:

These allow safe access to areas that are difficult to access or unsuitable for hikers who are used to climbing. Safety is provided by steel cables installed along the route, the harnesses are fitted with energy dissipaters and special vials (marked with a k) to ensure safety in the event of a fall.
This activity is the highest level of trekking and a good way to get started in the vertical world of climbing.
This is a vertical hiking activity, climbing a 140m high wall and a 250m route. Equipped with helmet, harness and anchor ropes, we will advance secured by a steel cable at all times.
